The Mechanical Technical Training here at WPA will cover the basics of operating and maintaining many types of equipment found throughout the plant. Course topics begin with an introductory explanation to some basic mechanical engineering concepts and how to work with some of the tools we use here, including hand tools, and fasteners. The course continues on to explain lubricants, drive components, bearings, pumps, and piping systems. The Mechanical Technical Training will end with focusing on troubleshooting techniques and how to apply predictive maintenance in your area.
